The deluxe double room comes equipped with a refrigerator, an electric kettle, and air conditioning. The food was lovely and the breakfast was amazing.- The location is fantastic and beautiful, only a 15-minute walk to the Royal Palace Museum.- The staff throughout the hotel are really friendly.

Well-appointed and beautifully maintained units with balcony, King Size bed plus free toiletries, and the staff were sincere. The location of the hotel was amazing and stunning - at a short distance from Mount Phousi.

The breakfast was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the surroundings were immaculately maintained in a convenient location near a quiet street; we found it hard to say goodbye and highly suggest staying here.

It was a small guesthouse on the outskirts of the central downtown of Luang Prabang, located on the River Nam Khan. 10-15 minute walking distance. The manager, Sam, was very helpful. The included breakfast had a nice selection, pancakes, eggs, omelette. The shower looked like something from Star Trek, "beam me up Scotty!" Even though a river view room is nice, the back rooms were quieter.

Very clean, great super hot showers with great water pressure and great air conditioning! Beautiful river view with balcony! Perfect spot, only 10 minute walk to downtown. Totally safe town!

Drainage in the shower was very slow.

The personnel at Merry Riverside Hotel was extremely helpful and attentive, making our stay really good. the terrace offered a nice variety of breakfast options, and the hotel had a modern and neat design with a lovely bathroom. Its comfortable location within walking distance from Mount Phousi was also a plus.

Clean, quiet, beautiful view, kind host

Room had two queen beds so good for a family. Lovely riverviews from our verandah. Bathroom very smelly as water not draining properly and pooling at the back of bath. Quiet location but can hear people walking and talking upstairs till late as timber floors.

The rooms are stylish and well-kept with charming traditional decor, and the scenic location, just 1 km from the Royal Palace Museum, adds to the appeal.

The staff were very friendly and they were happy to help with queries. We were really impressed with the Villa, the rooms were great value for money and to a very gig standard. As a backpacker couple, we wanted a good price, but value for money. This offered both. Great location very near to popular backpacker hauts Laos Laos Garden and even nearer to utopia. However, we did not experience noise because of this.

Nothing was really negative - however it would have been handy for us if they did breakfast as it would save the walk in the morning.
